National Center for Missing Children

Our Children’s Rehab, a non-profit corporation, serves the therapy needs of Polk County’s special needs pediatric population. Our team is comprised of specially trained and licensed speech, physical and occupational therapists who develop and implement innovative programs and services for newborns, infants, toddlers and children through 18 years of age. Our Children’s Academy provides services to children, grades pre-k through 5th, who are moderately and severely developmentally disabled in an intensive classroom learning experience combined with therapeutic interventions using state of the art technology and equipment.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure

Susan G. Komen fought breast cancer with her heart, body and soul. Throughout her diagnosis, treatments, and endless days in the hospital, she spent her time thinking of ways to make life better for other women battling breast cancer instead of worrying about her own situation. That concern for others continued even as Susan neared the end of her fight. Moved by Susan’s compassion for others and committed to making a difference, Nancy G. Brinker promised her sister that she would do everything in her power to end breast cancer forever.

Team In Training

Team In Training Central Florida Chapter/The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society….raises funds for blood cancer research and provides support to local families dealing with those diseases. The majority of their funds are raised through volunteer participants who sponsor a local child and raise money by training and completing half-marathons, marathons, triathlons, and 100 mile bike rides all over the world
