The Rotary Club of Winter Haven is sponsoring the 2010 Kids Against Hunger Project. Along with supporters like SIG, the rotary club will be joining forces with Kids Against Hunger to create free meals to be disbursed in churches, food pantries, and schools throughout Winter Haven.
The project will be held at Jarrett Gordon Ford Lincoln Mercury on Saturday, February 13, 2010. The project goal is to create 50,000 pre packaged meals to help those in need in Winter Haven. The project needs 70-100 community volunteers. Organizers encourage Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Interact, Youth Act, City of Winter Haven Employees, and Students to join the project efforts along with 45-50 Rotary Volunteers.
